TROUBLESHOOTING A POOL TABLE
One thing to remember. Pool tables are not hard to build, just
very time
consuming. If you have never attempted a project like this you may want
to contact a professional to install you table. Generally your retailer
can
give you a number of an installer or you may contact us @ 800-467-1421.
Pool tables can be very hard to troubleshoot because there are
so many
things to consider.
THE CURRENT SIX AND SEVEN FOOT MODELS HAVE NO
ADJUSTMENT AVAILABLE FOR THE POOL BED.
If it is warped to the point where you cannot play the game the
table will
need to be replaced. This can be done by contacting the place of purchase
for an exchange or by filing a warranty claim with us. All warranty claims
filed with the factory must include your Name, Address, Phone, Model #
and a copy of your Sales Receipt. If you forget any information it will
delay the process of your claim. Please click here for HELP with a
warranty claim.
ON OUR EIGHT FOOT POOL TABLES YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE
YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:
Once you have the frame assembled make sure it is level. If
you start out
with a frame that is not level you will never have a straight playfield.
In
order to check the frame you will want to use a four foot level as the
instructions show. Shorter levels do not give as accurate a reading.
When installing slate or slatron please follow the instructions
in the
manual or the video as provided with the table. If you have a slatron table
the three pieces are cut from a single sheet of slatron. You can be assured
that the thickness remains the same throughout the entire piece. Should
you experience a difference between the three pieces, your frame is not
level or you need to shim the slatron. Please refer to your owners manual
or video for these instructions.
If you are experiencing a difference in your slate pieces you
will need to
shim the playfield. Your three pieces of slate were cut from the same
sheet but it is only milled on one side. The top side is what is warranted
to be flat.
WHAT CAN HURT MY TABLE?
The worst thing you can do to your table is pick it up or move
it. We DO NOT
recommend moving a table within the same room without taking it apart.
If you move a
table without taking it apart you can ruin the integrity of the playfield
and your table will
not be flat anymore.
